Štěpánka Stein and Salim Issa are collaborative photographers whose work focuses on lifestyle documentary and fashion pictures,as well as the work of contemporary Czech designers and architects. Currently working on a series of conceptual projects (Beauty/Fashion, 'Beyond the Limits', Space Cowboys) including a documentary on a Prague neighborhood for which they won the Grant of the City of Prague in the Czech Press Photo Awards. Their work is also presented in the fashion magazine Blok. In the year 2005 they were chosen by Taschen Publishing to be included in their book Best Portfolios.

The photographic part of the CzechMania 2004/2005 design festival, represented by Stein and Issa, was split into two parts: the exhibition and the project - the second part will be used as the promotion for the whole event. For each part a unique set of photographs with a different concept was created: The CzechMania Messages and The CzechMania Design. |
